LEAD PASTOR
Chris has left his career in financial marketing to follow the call God has placed on his life to plant and pastor The Harvest Church. Chris has a passion to make the name of Jesus known among the people of Rehoboth Beach and the surrounding area. Accomplishing this by loving God with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength, and loving all people.
Chris and his wife Alexis have five boys, Roman, Atlas, Leo, Elisha, and Ezra and live in the Lewes area.
Bernie Armacost
Senior Adults Pastor
Bernie has been in pastoral ministry for decades, fulfilling positions from teaching pastor to senior adults pastor, leading ministries geared toward retirees, which he is focused on here at The Harvest. Through all of his years in ministry Bernie has always had a heart for teaching the word of God and leads a Senior Adults Bible Study at the Cape Henlopen Senior Center weekly.
Bernie and his wife Carolyn have been married for over 50 years. Before they answered the call to pastoral ministry were missionaries along the Amazon river in South America.
Michael Metzing
Youth Pastor
Michael a graduate a Liberty University has followed his call that the Lord has laid on his life to lead students to Christ and to deepen their love for Him. He has been using his gifts for years, fulfilling leadership roles at Liberty, at LifeHouse Church, and now at The Harvest. Michael doesn't see Youth Ministry as a stepping stone to a greater mission, but instead teaching the next generation IS the greater mission.
Michael is married to his high school sweetheart Shelby and they have one sweet little girl named Lucy.
